Problem
After installing neoStampa on a new computer and adding the existing printer schemes/profiles, the available printing modes may not be detected correctly when opening or modifying the Print Mode Options. For example, to change the number of passes, neoStampa may display errors such as:
Printing mode not supported
No Printing modes found

Cause
The printer scheme requires access to the printer's print_parameters folder. After installing neoStampa on a new computer, the Settings folder path stored in the printer configuration may no longer point to the correct location. For Reggiani printers, this folder is located on a shared network location accessible from the printer. The printer must therefore be powered on and accessible through the network.
Solution
Make sure the Reggiani printer is powered on and accessible from the neoStampa computer through the network.
Open the Printer Scheme Manager and select the affected printer scheme.
In the Print mode section, click Print mode options...
In the printer configuration window, locate the Settings folder and click the ... button next to the path.
Browse through the network to the shared location provided by the Reggiani printer and select its
print_parametersfolder at a path similar to:c:\reggiani\print_parameters\The exact path or network location may differ depending on the printer installation.
Click OK to save the new Settings folder location.
Open Print Mode Options again and verify that the available printing modes and pass configurations are now displayed.
If the issue persists
- Verify that the neoStampa computer can access the printer's shared folder through Windows and that the configured Settings folder points directly to the correct
print_parametersdirectory. - If “No Printing modes found” or “Printing mode not supported” continues to appear, check that the required printing mode exists in the
print_parametersconfiguration for the printer, for example,600_4P_BI_NORMAL.
