Issue

When adding a new driver to the printer configuration, then the the error "Encountered an improper argument" is displayed and the driver cannot be added.



Possible Cause

This error may be caused by character encoding issues in the list of installed drivers. On Korean systems (or other non-English OS setups), special characters or improperly encoded text can lead to parsing errors, resulting in this message.


Solution

  1. In the driver selection window, press Add + Alt to generate the current driver list.
  2. Wait until 100% processed.
  3. Go to the following folder: C:\Users\Public\Documents\neoStampa 10\Debug
  4. Locate and open the generated driver list CSV file.
  5. Check the file for the last row of the list to detect the driver causing the issue due to possible incorrect encoding.
  6. Contact the driver developer for a fix or workaround.
