Issue
When sending very large TIFF files to Print Server RIP, the following error may appear:
Error: Malformed job
Cause
This usually happens with long images that exceed the maximum supported TIFF size. Print Server RIP has a known limitation when processing TIFF files that are taller than approximately 50,000 pixels. If the image exceeds this limit, the RIP cannot process the file and displays the Malformed job error.
Solution
Save the artwork as a PSB (Large Document Format) instead of TIFF.
PSB supports much larger image dimensions and avoids this limitation.
Result
After saving the file as PSB, the job should process correctly in Print Server RIP.
