Problem

When attempting to delete the printer driver, the following error message appears:

"Error: The printer 'ABC' is being used for an open job at the moment. Close it or assign it to another printer if you wish to delete that from the software."


Cause

This issue is typically caused by an active Hotfolder configuration associated with the printer. Merely unchecking the Hotfolder does not deactivate it, it must be deleted.


Solution

To resolve the issue:

  1. Delete the Hotfolder configuration associated with the printer.
  2. Restart neoStampa.
  3. After restarting, you should now be able to delete the printer driver without encountering the error.
